Whether a 50 year old print or one developed just yesterday, most photos, depending on their condition, can be manipulated or restored in some way. Restoration & manipulation may include the addition or removal of photograph backgrounds or other elements, or repairing cracks, stains, tears, or other damage.
All I need from you is a photographic print, or a hi-res digital photo. Great care is taken with each and every original photograph to ensure it is not damaged in any way. Please note that depending on the work to be done, low-res digital images may not be appropriate for detailed manipulation or restoration.
Each original photograph is scanned at a high resolution to ensure the best possible detailing can be carried out. The image is then modified digitally. A minimum of one hour is required for most restorations or manipulations of a photograph.

All photos are scanned at a minimum resolution of 300dpi if any restorative or manipulative work is required - higher resolutions may be required for highly detailed repair work. I also offer photograph scanning services for: digital copies of your favourite photographs for email purposes, your website, or a simple digital image archive.

I do not provide photo printing service, however restored/manipulated images are print-ready. An additional service charge to the cost of printing and a deposit is required if I am to have the prints made on your behalf (on top of the restoration or manipulation charges). Or at your convenience (and no additional service charge), you can have the print done yourself at the facility of your choice.

Restrictions do apply in the copying and/or alterating of certain photographs. If the photograph was taken by a professional, you are responsible for obtaining written permission from the photographer to copy and/or alter said photograph, before restoration can begin.
