 VERSION 1.0 Jack's Place is an iPhone app that's a little different from other apps. It really falls into two genre categories: education and entertainment... edu-tainment? On one hand, you learn about American Robins: their life cycle, their behaviour, etc. On the other hand, you can view pictures, read Jack's Story, and even test what you've learned by playing the "Test Your Knowledge" quiz. DEVELOPMENT The most challenging part of the process of converting "Jack's Place" to the iPhone platform was deciding how to crunch everything down from a formerly wide-screen format viewed on a computer screen to something that would work on a much smaller screen without losing detail. Future versions of the app will incorporate more "fun stuff"! The "Jack's Place" app is provided as is, without warranty or guarantee of any kind.
